Apostille & Attestation

We coordinate Texas Secretary of State apostilles for Hague Convention members and consular attestation routing for the rest. You hand us the document, we handle the submission and tracking.

Two routing paths

Hague Apostille or consular attestation

The destination country determines the routing. Hague Convention members accept a Texas Secretary of State apostille directly. Non-member countries require a longer consular attestation chain. India is an example of the first; Pakistan is an example of the second.

Hague Apostille

For documents destined for Hague Convention countries, the Texas Secretary of State issues an apostille that is accepted directly under the Convention. Once attached, no consular step is required.
